Cochlear Implant: Is it true that you can't swim or play football?

I am not sure that I would take the chance swimming or rough sports wit a CI. A lot of technology and expense to take a chance. IMHO.

What hearing aid batteries do you like/use?

Who else doesn't like digital hearing aids?

Have only worn digital so can't compare. It would seem to me that you can program a digital to sound any way you want. Wouldn't you be able to just set the sound settings in a digital hearing aid to sound like an analog?

    Dog ate my hearing aid

Keep your hearing aids put in a sealed dry store jar or in a closed dresser. Dogs love the smell and taste of earwax. It is like a piece of steak for them. Glad you got it replaced for free.
