New to this forum and new to hearing aids

Hi, I've just found this forum when looking for more information about hearing aids.

I've very recently been given hearing aids - I'm in the UK so this came via the National Health Service. I am trying to get used to wearing them.

I have a mild-to-moderate hearing loss in both ears.

The hearing aids I have are called Ambio 62 - part of a company called Danalogic.

Looking forward to reading people's posts and learning more.

You may want to read a DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF file named (Unlocking ReBranded Hearing Aids) and scroll down to the ReSound SmartFit/Aventa3 section where it says;

ReSound SmartFit/Aventa3:​

Danalogic 1.18 is a version of GN ReSound's SmartFit for ReBranded NHS models (Actio, Ambio Smart, Ambio). There is an earlier version Danalogic 1.15 but it is for same models.

Danafit 1.5 is an older version of GN ReSound's software for ReBranded models (Gala, Aio, Tera, EOS, Logar, SAP).

Also; the DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) access portals are at your finger tips via 24/7 cloud storage access.
  • Start here → DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) to find the access portals
  • You can easily find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking any PVC Avatar (click twice - counting the 2nd popup Avatar)
  • When logged in, you can find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking a Link in my Signature
  • And finally, you can perform a simple Internet search for "DIY School Hearing Aids"
 
Thanks PVC for all the links, plenty for me to think about! Right now though I don't feel confident about anything DIY for hearing aids as I'm so unfamiliar with it all at present.
