Connexx fitting software can be used to fit a variety of different hearing aids by pairing a specific version of Connexx together with a Hearing Instrument Database for the chosen brand of hearing aids. So we need to be more specific about which hearing aids you are trying to fit.

Connexx Software Connexx has two distinct parts:
  • Connexx Software
  • Hearing Instrument/HI Database
Siemens/Signia HI requires the SiFit HI database. There are different versions of each database (old/legacy and new/current) and you can usually find both versions you need in one download. If you need to use it for Signia HI, install the version with the SiFit HI database. If you want to use it for Rexton HI, install the version with the RexFit HI database.

Note that Connexx was rewritten as Connexx 8 (circa 2016), so the Connexx 8 version is the dividing line between the old/legacy version and the new/current version. You may encounter multiple old versions and multiple current Connexx versions. Generally, you will need either the last old version or the latest current version, depending on your hearing aids.Connexx 8 also adds an update program to the Windows system tray to keep the software up to date. However, due to a malfunction in the updater program, Connexx 8.5.3 is unable to receive additional updates through the updater program, so you may need to manually update this version. Please note that there are other (more infrequently used) versions of Connexx (Hansaton, Electone, Miracle Ear, etc.). For less commonly used versions, please use the hidden software instructions suggested at the end of this document.

If you want to use both versions of Legacy/Connexx (Siemens/Signia and Rexton), install both versions. When the installation is complete, you will have two HI databases and one Legacy/Connexx6 executable. You can select which HI database you want to use from the Manufacturer drop-down menu and then select Siemens or Rexton; however, for new/current versions of Connexx, you will have two HI databases and two separate Connexx executables.

Connexx Rexton:

Connexx 6.5.5/RexFit6.8.4 software (for Rexton Older/Legacy models) is hidden. You will need to use the suggested PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file. Model Names; (Cobalt, Gem, Onyx, Insite, Bridge, Day, Stream, Targa PLUS, Arena)

Connexx 9.11.15/RexFit9.11.15 (or latest) for Rexton Newer/Current is hidden. You will need to use the hidden software instructions suggested at the end of this document. Model names (new models can be added); (Reach R-Li, M-Core, StyleLine, CROS, BiCore, Stellar, Emerald S, Emerald XS, Emerald M, Mosaic, Joy, Targa, inoX).

Connexx Signia/Siemens

Connexx6.5.5/SiFit6.10 for Signia older/legacy is hidden. You will need to use the suggested PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file. Model names; (Motion, Life, Pure, Aquaris, Eclipse, iMINI, Explorer, Nitro, Intuis, Phoenix G3, Lotus).

Connexx7.5.2/SiFit7.5.1 for Signia intermediary/legacy is hidden. You will need to use the suggested PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file. Model names; (Carat bx, Pure bx, Pure mi, Ace bx, Ace mi, Motion bx, Motion mi, Life mi, Aquaris mi, Insio bx, Insio mi, Nitro mi, Orion 2, Orion, Sirion 2, Sirion). Note: This special intermediate version has an updater, but there are no updates for this version, so you'd better choose the (don't activate the update manager) option. Also, this special intermediate version cannot coexist with the newer/current version described below.

Connexx8.5.1/SiFit8.5.1 for Signia intermediary/legacy is hidden. You will need to use the suggested PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file. I will write more about this version at a later time.

Connexx9.11.15/SiFit9.11.15 (or latest) for Signia Newer/Current is hidden. You will need to use the hidden software instructions suggested at the end of this document. Model names (new models can be added) (Pure C&G IX, Pure C&G T IX, Click ITE Silk IX, Styletto, Styletto X Styletto AX, Styletto Connect, CROS, Pure C&G AX, Pure 312 AX, Pure C&G X, Pure 312 X, Pure 312 Nx, Pure 13 Nx, Pure 10 Nx, Intuis 3, Motion 13 BT primax, Motion primax, Active, Silk X, Silk Nx, Insio C&G AX, Insio Nx, Insio primax).

Hi, I have ConnexxAir and Siemens Orion 2. Did anyone try to use ConnexxAir to fit Siemens Orion 2 before?
As I knows, ConnexxAir is used for programming HAs with Connexx 8.3 onwards.
May anyone send me the Connexx 8.3/SiFit 8.3 onwards or Connexx 8.5.1/ SiFit 8.5.1 to try? Thanks

I believe that you will need to use the special intermediary version Connexx7.5.2/SiFit7.5.1 for Signia intermediary/legacy which cannot coexist with Connexx9.12.2/SiFit9.12.1 (or latest). Here's a clip from DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF file named (01 Free Hearing Aid Fitting Software);

You can read a DIY School Legacy Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF file named (Choose Hardware-Programming Device for Signia). It has instructions for how to go about find out which hearing aid programming device may be used for a specific hearing aid model.

I believe you are referencing a → ReBranded Audio Service SR Li 7 Hearing Aid model.

Maybe the ReBranded fitting software (Audio Service Connexx 9.11.15 AudioFit 9.11.15 for AudioService) will fit that model? You can read a DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF file named (Unlocking ReBranded Hearing Aids) which should list the ReBranded models. Spoiler alert! Yes SR Li 7 is listed. Read your PM/Private Message/Conversation for info on how to find (Audio Service Connexx 9.11.15 AudioFit 9.11.15 for AudioService).

Hi, i would need Connexx 9.12.2/SiFit9.12.1 for Signia Newer/Current as I can t control the volume in the Signia app (guess it has been lock by the hearing aid specialist…)

That's seems to be an incorrect assumption, or at least a very, very unusual lock feature? Have you paired the two devices?

No one else that I know of can do this for you as it requires a professional account.
