I have been blessed with severe old-age hearing loss and began needing hearing aids 20 years ago. I have found the knowledge and expertise of "hearing aid professionals" to be declining rapidly, at least in my local area. I understand the role, science, and physiology of hearing aids and really don't want to waste time on unsuccessful fitting sessions.
