You should go to a different audiologist... They can still fix and repair Unitron hearing aids... but no repair should cost $1300, should be more like $250
Meniere usually has a low frequency fluctuation hearing loss and so I would recommend a RIC product with a custom mold. I would have volume controls unlinked as so you can set each hearing aid volume individually as the hearing could fluctuate just on one side.
