Genie2 2024.1 is available, updated to Genie2 2025.1 is available

Uninstall everything and install a fresh version of (Oticon Genie2 2025.1). Here's a clip from a DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF File named (02 How to Program your Hearing Aids).

Self Programming Don’ts:​

When installing hearing aid fitting software don’t choose the option to participate in the improve software feature. No need to have extra automatic communication with manufacturer!!

Don’t use the Noah system software (currently Noah4 or Noah-ES). Noah system software is never required for any manufacturer’s fitting software. Professional Audiologists need the Noah system software to group many clients into a one Noah database and provide automatic startup interfaces for the different manufacturer’s fitting software. If you are a self-programmer, it is simpler and cheaper to run the manufacturer’s fitting software standalone. When fitting software is run standalone it will use its own database. Repeat,,, Do not use the Noah System software!

Don’t confuse the above Noah system software (currently Noah4 or Noah-ES) with the Noahlink Wireless programming device. Don’t confuse an old obsolete programming device named NOAHlink with the Noahlink Wireless programming device. Noah, NOAHlink, and Noahlink Wireless are three different things.

You will also need a hearting aid programming device. Suggested = (Noahlink Wireless 2 or Noahlink Wireless). Also; the DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) access portals are at your finger tips via 24/7 cloud storage access.
  • Start here → DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) to find the access portals
  • You can easily find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking any PVC Avatar (click twice - counting the 2nd popup Avatar)
  • When logged in, you can find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking a Link in my Signature
  • And finally, you can perform a simple Internet search for "DIY School Hearing Aids"

DIY Helpers wanted!

Perhaps someone else could step up to help newbie DIYers with the incessant requests for how to find hearing aid fitting software. Though, it is somewhat complex because existing links are (at-best - semi-permanent). Therefore you may need to provide access to your own cloud storage.

Also, you might consider using tactics for dissuading reuse by predatory EBay re-sellers.

I have Noahlink Wireless 2. I had the Genie 2 2024.1 installed, but lost it with my laptop.

I can do this. As an IT professional, I can figure out how to create more or less permanent links.
 
For future not-yet-released versions too? Just kidding, (or not) depending on how you look at it. ;)
