I’m not sure about cleaning hearing aids. It is better to read the instructions or ask an audiologist. I use lyric hearing devices which I bought from Toronto. It can be worn 24/7 and there is no need to change batteries. The best part is there no maintenance required.

I use Phonak Lyric Hearing Aid.
