Hello, I want to purchase Resound Linx Quattro (Ric) for my uncle,if anyone is using then please tell my How is the bettry life, sound Quality, about channels and is it good for severe Hearing loss.Thanks

From my past observation of posts in the other discussion forum (from members with severe/profound hearing loss) they seem to rely on Power Hearing Aids usually in the BTE style and not the RIC style. For reference, this is the range (in pinkish tones below) that you would be trying to fit.

Here's a -> LINK to a PDF showing (ReSound SureFit Receiver Guide) with ReSound LiNX Quattro receivers (LP, MP, HP, UP) in the left-side column. Also, sometimes the very powerful receivers are too big to fit a specific person's ear canal.
 
Wow, the UP receiver seems difficult to deal with!!

It's like wearing a piece of chewing gum in your ear.
I assume the plastic thingy on the opposite side is a dome.

ETA: Edit to add; Oh, it's a factory ordered custom mold.
I think that's the only way (factory order) to get the UP receiver?
Though, I don't know for sure?
