inSitu fitting can be used to quickly find your hearing thresholds, and therefore it can be used to create new Rx/Prescribed settings for your hearing aids.

If you use inSitu to replace your current Rx/Prescribed settings be careful of what you are replacing! There are other/rich benefits for professionally fit hearing aids with additional REM/Real Ear Measurement. Some consider this as the gold standard for fitting hearing aids. Maybe you should research the (Benefits of a Hearing Test) and also (REM/Real Ear Measurement) so that you consider these other benefits that you may be discarding and replacing with inSitu.

I changed the name of this DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF file. again! Phonak made up its own name (AudiogramDirect) for inSitu fitting.
Sorry, choosing a name was difficult for me.
