combine 2 HAs into binaural pair in Connexx

Hello!
I'm trying to solve a problem for my dad. I'm setup with Signia Connexx \o/ and a Noahlink wireless 2. I've read through the DIY pdfs looking for info on how to pair 2 HAs together. I do see a mention of it in - 02 how to program your hearing aids.PDF. The section "Self Programing Dont's" talks about being careful not to program only one HA lest this happen, "Thereafter, the binaural communication can only be restored by reprogramming both HAs together as a
pair using the manufacturer's fitting software." Connexx is this software, right?

What I've been able to do so far is connect tp each HA and read it's settings and have saved them to individual sessions. When I try to connect to more than one HA at a time, I only get the option for "New Fitting" which I'm wary of doing. Other options are greyed out and none of them is read from HAs. The way in which we got into this mess was that he sent one out for repair and it came shipped back as a separate HA - it's actually a brand new one.

Do I need to perform a First Fit on the 2nd connected HA and enter the audiogram manually? As an asside, each HA has the same audiogram which has me suspicious that his audi has messed up. Happy to show any screenshots if needed.

I'd be very grateful for advice! Thanks in advance!

Ok so making some progress. I got his most recent audiogram and see that indeed the left was way different than the right, so that going through a first fit on that side was a reasonable path.

Having done that, they do connect to his phone as a pair now. Minor progress! However, he only gets phone calls in one ear and streaming works only briefly in the same ear. The app is says no streaming is playing although the streamer box is green and blue, which if I'm not mistaken, means that it's streaming.

So there seems to be another paring that I'm not seeing in the program. They do show as coupled. Can anyone suggest a solution?
 
In case this helps anyone in the future, I reconnected reading current settings and toggled coupleing. All those issues seem resolved!
