I currently have a pair of Danaglogic (Resound) Ambio S hearing aids, I self adjust and I recently discovered a way to extract more high end frequency.
However, I'd like to check with the experts to see if it is safe.
As part of a REM, I've got REUG measurements as well, if I use those measurements, I'm somewhat limited by how much highend frequency adjustments I can do.
I discovered that if I put in a very large negative number for the 4k-8k REUG measurements, it unlocks at least 10DB worth of adjustments and it would benefit me as the REM is way below target in those areas due to lack of adjustments.
I would like to know if it's safe to manually adjust the REUG numbers or should it be left alone despite it unlocking more gain?
