Hear but can't understand the words

Hello,today I saw a person with moderate Hearing loss He hears with hearing aids but could not understand even a single word,Ent specialist also suggested him hearing aids, are there any special kind of Hearing aids to understand the speach,thanks

Noone can say without specific knowledge of the person's -> Hearing Loss. I do not participate in discussions about specific hearing losses because I am not experienced and also not educated in this area, and because it takes too much of my time. But I can give a few Tips: Older Legacy digital hearing aids (a decade or so old) were not very good at treating major hearing losses. Everyone bemoaned the loss of analog hearing aids at first. Digital hearing aids have made many improvements since first replacing analog hearing aids.

ETA: Edit to Add. The Yellow part is called the Speech Banana showing (decibel levels and frequencies) where you hear speech. For example words that begin with "sh" at 40 decibels and in the 2000-3000 frequency range.
