Hey people here. I am Susan. This forum has been of good help in my need. I had a regarding the use of hearing aids while swimming. Its for my sister's son I am writing here. My sister has two kids. Her elder one who is just 6 is having hearing problems. And he is very much fond of swimming. Every time he goes for swimming, he would be having trouble in hearing in the one way or the other. It is very difficult for us and his mum to stop him from going for swimming. I heard from my colleague who had a son who had a severe problem and uses an ear plug while swimming. I found it interesting and looks funky enough that kids would love to wear. But I doubt the use, being new to this. I don't know how far this could help and will there be any side effects in using this. Will there be any need for doctor's prescription for its use?
