It may be a little confusing so here's some Tips: Typically you can click the @hearingaidtalk Logo (in the upper left corner of this screen) and it will take you to the public forums. But not always! Sometimes it takes you to a Home page which displays a female ear (decorated with jewellery). Examples:
  • If you click the @hearingaidtalk Logo when you are already in the public forums it will take you to the public forums
  • If you click the @hearingaidtalk Logo when you are at the Home page then it behaves differently!! It will loop you back to the Home page!!
If you mistakenly arrive at the Home page, you can find a separate link there to COMMUNITY and that will take you back to the Public Forums!!

Some Related Tips:
When you ask for help by posting on my Profile/(profile posts) then other members are not likely to find this information. Therefore, I routinely delete the questions asked on my Profile/(profile posts), and provide directions to the Public Forums in @hearingaidtalk.

When you ask for help by sending me a PM/Private Message/Conversation then other members will never see this information. Therefore, I routinely request that questions be asked in the Public Forums in @hearingaidtalk.

HMm; A link that Loops back to itself. But only sometimes? Could that be considered → abnormal? :p

Hi @Alex Could we revisit this problem. Perhaps I have failed to describe this adequately in the past?

Question: How is a Website Link (that links to itself) useful?
Answer: It is not useful.

AND, since the same ubiquitous link appears on each major page of this website, it's confusing when the link behaviour changes. All other versions of this link take you to the forums. Right? Yes, I believe that's Right!

The home page version of the link morphs into to a loop that insures you cannot leave the website homepage unless you click something else (COMMUNITY for example). This serves no useful purpose and is very confusing.
