I currently use two Starkey hearing aids: Evolve AI and Genesis AI. I’m trying to find the optimal fitting, but each adjustment requires a visit to my Hearing Aid Specialist, who usually has very limited time. As a result, the changes are made quickly, and it’s hard to evaluate them properly in the office—you only notice the effects days later. If I want another adjustment, I have to go back again.
Because of this, I strongly feel I’m not getting the full potential out of my hearing aids. I do have several recent and detailed hearing tests from my audiologist.
Ideally, I would like to do fine-tuning myself using Starkey software. As far as I understand, I would need Starkey Pro Fit for the Genesis AI and Inspire X for the Evolve AI, plus:
