is NoahLink wireless a must to adjust Resound 960s hearing aids with smart fit 1.18

Hello,
got new hearing aid devices reSound NX960S DRWC.
Dowloaded the ResoundSmartFit 1.18.
I cannot connect to my hearing aids.
Is the NoahLink Wireless a must?
Or I could connect to them via laptop and bluetooth?

It's more complicated that Bluetooth Pairing
  • All hearing aids (Legacy-or-Newer/Current) require a hearing aid programming device.
  • Many Legacy hearing aids require cables and adapters.
  • Typically most (but-not-all) Newer/Current hearing aids use Noahlink Wireless or Noahlink Wireless 2.
