I am getting new HA's, and my Au.D/CCC-A has recommended Widex Unique Fusion 220 or the 330 model. My last pair of HA's were Costco Signature 5's which I thought were really sub par, but was all I could afford at the time, and I needed them to pass my CDL. I am now retired, more of a hermit, and not very active.
My insurance now covers 100%, so price isn't a factor. I am told the 220's will be adequate for what I need, and that the 330's is a slight more than necessary for now, but she isn't against them. I have to let her know soon as to which set I want, and I am torn between 'adequate' or 'slight bit more'. Any advice will be welcomed. By the way, insurance wont pay the re-stocking fee ($350) so it's a one time shot for 3 years.
