Hi guys

I am really hoping you can give me some advice.
I am currently in the testing phase for a pair of Evolv AI 2000's. I've had two sessions so far, and we were very close to getting a good setting, but we've encountered an issue that really worries me.

Initially we had the feedback suppresion on the highest setting. This works really well against feedback, but it makes background music in the office or in stores "chop", it sounds like someone is singing through a fan. Drives you nuts.

To counteract is we now tried to set it at a lower level. The aids are notably slower at dealing with feedback, BUT music sounds normal now.

However.......when there's background noise, mostly wind/road noise/traffic noise/my friggin car, I hear a very faint far away "chugging" noise, like a little diesel engine very faintly on the background. With the previous setting the speed of this noise was a lot higher (and I suppose better at picking up feedback...) and less noticeable (until it mucks up music).

A logic next step would be to turn off the feedback manager, but I'm afraid to do that because on the lower setting already I get annoyed with the occasional screech. So it's either music sounding like crap, or a diesel engine permanently chugging away in the background whenever I go outside or turn on a fan indoors...

...help...
