Truhearing TH 7 RIC LI T

Hello. Got these a couple of weeks ago, told they would connect to PC, they lied to me. Windows also lied to me, saying they had LE Audio Support in Windows 11. So went and bought Floogoo and using the Floocast program to get hearing aids connected to PC. Only it doesn't detect the hearing aids to be paired! My mom's phone detects and connects, the PC itself detects and connects, but Floocast and Floogoo, will not detect them. The only thing I can think of is that it's a firmware issue, and I need to update the firmware. But I do not know how. Does anyone here know how I can update the firmware on my hearing aids to hopefully get them finally connected to the PC through Floogoo?

The technology you mention (Bluetooth dongle with Auracast support / FlooGoo) is new and not supported by all devices. For example it is not supported by all cell phones. Also, do you have any evidence that Auracast is supported by your Truhearing TH 7 RIC LI T ReBranded hearing aid model?

I have no 'proof', nor understanding of the technology. All I know is from scouring the internet, being told many times "Floogoo will work", "Floogoo will work for most hearing aids", "Go buy Floogoo, many streamers use it", "this works, many hearing aid wearers are using it . I have it and it works with truhearing TH 7 premium confirmed"

A month ago I didn't even have hearing aids, and now I got them, didn't get to pick the brand and modeled, and the provider told me I would be able to stream from my PC directly to the hearing aids.

Guess I have been lied to by everyone, every step of the way, and I'll be stuck using headphones.

(This below from → a search); TruHearing works with many hearing aid brands, including Phonak, Unitron, Starkey, ReSound, and their own private label, TruHearing brand (which is made by Signia).

Using the example of your (Truhearing TH 7 RIC LI T) model; is a version of Signia AX technology (which is not the latest technology because the Signia IX platform is the latest Signia technology).

The AX does not have LE audio (only Bluetooth LE) as you correctly explained.
IX does have LE Audio (No Auracast) and that one can work with the FMA120 (Floogoo).
Per Signia, none of the Signia/Rexton devices will get Auracast https://www.signia.net/en/support/pairing/ (See 1st FAQ question).

Floogoo is an LE Audio/Auracast device and the OP device does not have BT LE Audio hence I don't see how it can connect.

OP device can connect to a PC, but with an accessory (called Streamline Mic) - It may be able to connect to a MacBook Air M2 or better or Macbook Pro M1 Pro or better (Some MFi devices can connect to Macs without accessories).
