I am trying to use a CPD-1 device to try to fit new Jabra Enhanded Pro30 hearing aids. The Smatfit detects the hearing aids and I can select them. When I hit continue it tries to connect but then always shows an connection error. Any ideas if the CPD-1 is no longer supported? I have tried all firmwares to no avail, all give the same error. I am on 2.24 now.

Thanks

And here's a clip from a DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF File named (02 How to Program your Hearing Aids);

Self Programming Don’ts:

When installing hearing aid fitting software don’t choose the option to participate in the improve software feature. No need to have extra automatic communication with manufacturer!!

Don’t use the Noah system software (currently Noah4 or Noah-ES). Noah system software is never required for any manufacturer’s fitting software. Professional Audiologists need the Noah system software to group many clients into a one Noah database and provide automatic startup interfaces for the different manufacturer’s fitting software. If you are a self-programmer, it is simpler and cheaper to run the manufacturer’s fitting software standalone. When fitting software is run standalone it will use its own database. Repeat,,, Do not use the Noah System software!

Don’t confuse the above Noah system software (currently Noah4 or Noah-ES) with the Noahlink Wireless programming device. Don’t confuse an old obsolete programming device named NOAHlink with the Noahlink Wireless programming device. Noah, NOAHlink, and Noahlink Wireless are three different things.

What Connection error does it show?
If you mean Noahlink Wireless when you say CPD-1, Yes it is still supported.

I get the software to detect the hearing aids, when I hit continue it allways gives a connection error.

I think this is related, but it happens still with 2.25 on Noah Wireless, I think my CPD-1 is the original version.

Noahlink Wireless firmware version 2.25 released to address issue of NLW losing connection with computer

This release is to address reports that the Noahlink Wireless would in some cases not be detected. It would take unplugging and replugging of the NLW to establish a connection. Once the connection is established the NLW works as expected.
This issue and the firmware v 2.25 upgrade are for the original Noahlink Wireless.
Please note that the Noahlink Wireless firmware upgrader now supports both Noahlink Wireless and Noahlink Wireless 2. The upgrader will detect NLW devices connected, and offer the firmware upgrade if a newer firmware is available.

Are you still having the same problem? I realize this is an old thread.

I bought a Noahlink Wireless (CDP-1) in 2018 and it's been working fine til now. I'm having the same exact issue. Last time I used it was in 2022. Decided to install Smart Fit 1.4 (then 2.2) yesterday and now have this connection error. Nothing is changed. I still have the same ENZO 3D hearing aids, same PC (but Windows 11 instead of 10) and same Noahlink I've used and same Smart Fit 1.4 and I am getting connection error. Only thing that is different is I'm using WIndows 11 now - it was working on Windows 10.

Smart Fit sees the HA - complete with serial numbers and as soon I click connect, My hearing aids muted and then get a connection error screen. I have to reboot the HA to get them working again. I know before It mute for a couple seconds after i clicked connect when it was working.

Is there anyone else having this issue?
