For Oticon Real models you need to install Genie2 2023.1 version or later because the Real models were introduced with version 2023.1. Also the Real models may not be available for all regions/countries and you can fix that by selecting the USA region/country during install.

Noahlink Wireless is the hearing aid programming device you will need (plugged into your PC using a USB-A to USB-B 2.0 style USB cable/aka Printer Cable)

I have updated the DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF file named (01 Free Hearing Aid Fitting Software) to include new instructions for how to find some/most Hearing Aid Fitting Software. Maybe you will not like the new instructions because it requires more effort for you, and less effort for me. C'est la vie. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hello all! Great to have found this community! I read about self programming and i would like to give it a try on my Oticon Intent 1. I am aware that i have to buy the Noahlink programmer. If somebody could help me with getting the Genie SW that would be hugely appreciated.
 
Good evening. I have a pair of OPN S1 and would like to try self programming with the Genie 2 software. I did send a PM to a previous requester a few days ago, but have not yet received a response - is there anyone online that would be able to help? Thanks!
 
I’m about to purchase a NoahLink BTE programer. I need the latest version of Genie2 for Oticon Real HAs. Any help appreciated.

  • Don't purchase a NoahLink BTE programer.
  • Don't purchase a NOAHlink programmer. It's old and obsolete.
  • Purchase a Noahlink Wireless, or Noahlink Wireless 2 programmer.
For the fitting software; Suggested reading; DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF File named (01 Free Hearing Aid Fitting Software), second paragraph. The DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) access portals are at your finger tips via 24/7 cloud storage access.
  • Start here → DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) to find the cloud storage access portals
  • You can easily find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking any PVC Avatar (click twice - counting the 2nd popup Avatar)
  • When logged in, you can find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking a Link in my Signature
  • And finally, you can perform a simple Internet search for "DIY School Hearing Aids"
  • Tip: The Microsoft Edge browser has an excellent .PDF file reader. You can change Windows settings for a PDF file by changing the default application used to open them, which is often done through the Settings app (go to Apps > Default apps > Choose default apps by file type) This allows you to select a different program, such as Microsoft Edge, and choose to "Always" use that application for opening future PDF files.
