Hi I've just had a pair of NHS Bernafon Viron A7 BTE 85 hearing aids from Scrivens and I just can't seem to connect them to my Android phone for calls and sound.

I've installed the Bernafon app and can control the aid volume. But when I try to connect the aids to my phone for calls via the android accessibility settings they do not show up as an available device.

Does anyone have any experience of this model?

Thanks

On Android Phones you can connect the hearing aids via the App for changing settings, like volume or program changes. But direct streaming of sound is not possible from android phones. Bernafone Viron is MFi only and not supporting ASHA.

The Bernafone hearing aids (from Demant: Oticon, Philips, Sonic) are MFi (made for iPhone/iPad/iMac) and direct streaming is only available for this Apple devices.

If you want to stream from Android devices and other devices (like PC,Tablet) you need an additional accessory: Bernafon Soundclip-A (likewise the NHS version of Soundclip-A )

If you want to stream sound from Android phones (and other bluetooth devices) to your Viron BTE hearing aids you require a SoundClip-A.
