My audiologist recommended Starkey
Evolv 1000 because my insurance covers them. In April I get new insurance. My new insurance pays double of my current insurance. I haven't gotten my Evolvs yet. I want to know if I should tell my audiologist when I get my Evolvs or wait the trial period and then bring it up.

I trialed the Starkey Evolv AI 2400 CIC but ended up getting a refund - definitely not worth the money. They felt like I had an ear mould in, not normal CIC hearing aids (which you would not notice after 5 minutes)

I had the Evolv AI 2400 for 4 years and switched to the Starkey Omega AI 24 the first of April. I have noticed an improvment in my hearing in most situations. I have used custom molds for the last two years and will never go back to domes. The new aids also support Auracast which is great. I bought a Auracast transmitter and donated (cost was $50.00) it to my church and it has been great to be able to hear and understand the speakers in the services. I am happy with my new aids. I hope this is of use to you.
