Hello all
For the last ten years I have had Phonak Virto Q50 hearing aids. They have been very reliable. I tried updating to Starkey Evolv AI 2400 CIC, however after wearing them for a couple of weeks I took them back and was fully refunded. They felt terrible in my ears and were definitely not as good as the Phonaks.
Recently I damaged one of my Phonaks beyond repair and have been wondering if I could buy a pair off Alibaba or AliExpress and tune them myself.
Ideally I would spend up to AUD$1000 but in reality may need to spend more.
I am considering buying a pair for around AUD$150 including postage (see Alibaba CIC hearing aids for examples)
Any recommendations? Any personal experiences with the cheaper ones - are they literally cheap and nasty???
