Hi all. Very glad to find this forum. I am wearing Phonak P90s and overall I have been less than impressed with them. I really struggle to hear my wife, especially the first word of a sentence. I go in for tuneups with my local audiologist and it helps a little. Its like what they do in the office is not working for me in the "real world". I have tried using the Phonak App and I can tune up for better performance but it is not sticky. I am hoping the DIY section of this forum will allow me to find the right tools to reprogram my Phonaks so they start working well for me. It will help keep me out of the dog house with the wife (some). She seems to think hearing aids will correct all the loss and get me back to 40 years ago. Not sure that is realistic. Plus I am a retired communications engineer who "tuned" lots of stuff over the years. Wish me well in this new experiment re-tuning my own "receiver".
