I live in Georgia I am 84 years old I have been wearing hearing aids from Costco for about eight years. My first set Phonak battery operated I was happy with them until I lost one and replaced them about two years ago with Phillips rechargeable. I never like them as well as my first set. I can no longer enjoy listing to music which i used to enjoy. All of the singers sound like they are screaming and the back ground music is annoying as the high pitched note especially guitars and violins are unbearable. I have blue tooth and tried to get on the Phillips help site but was never able to get it to work. I haven't talked to Costco about it as I thought it would be a waste of time and I don't know what they could do about it anyway. Does anyone else have these issues and if so what have you done about it?

If you bought the Costco aids shortly after you lost one of your first set, then it is unlikely your hearing changed significantly. This is more likely a programming issue. If you don't take advantage of Costco's services, then you might have to pay another provider to check your hearing and the programming of the aids. I'd think a return to Costco would be your best bet.
