Since I detected my hearing loss (less bird noise and crickets became undetectable) I had a long journey. One of my hobbies is listening to vinyl LP albums. Took the path of: denial, buying OTC aids, last purchase in that area was from USA E-bay, OTC from Sony and not available in Europe. When they arrived found out that the app for the Iphone was not in the app store, since it was not ment for EU market. Worked along that and made a new Apple account, gave a USA address, was able to install the app but haven't used it a lot because it wasn't the result I had hoped for. Tried Opticon, returned them in trial period, tried Phonak, returned them in trial period. At this moment have the Widex Moments 440, because they seem best for listening to music from my home system. They work fine BUT finetuning those for music is difficult, got the Noah link 2 and the Compass GPS software, thanks to some help here I could upgrade from 4.4 to 4.9 (believe there is also a 4.10 version) My hearing care proffesional gave good help, but I have the impression that things could be improved, and only the listener/user can judge wat is best. So I'm going to try to adjust them, DIY, for best music listening result. Maybe trying to find the book: Compass GPS for Dummies? ;-)
