Phonak Terra VS Naida Lumity. Speech Intelligibility

An elderly relative of mine (>90 years old) suffers from bilateral hearing loss: profound in the right ear and severe in the left ear. She lives in an assisted living facility, and her daily routine consists mainly of watching TV and conversing with family and friends. For the past few years, she has been wearing RIC hearing aids with UP receivers encased in custom earmolds (Unitron Moxi Blu B9-R by Sonova group). They are currently programmed to maximum gain, yet they remain insufficient and she is still struggling significantly to hear.

We are currently evaluating a trial with BTE UP HAs. We took her to a Phonak center (also Sonova group) and I specifically requested a trial with the Naida Lumity UP, using custom earmolds for this trial. The hearing care professional stated they did not have the Lumity in stock, but offered a trial with the Phonak Terra (or Terra+, I cannot recall precisely), claiming they were the "successors" to the Naida Paradise. The HCP also noted that the Lumity would be overkill for her lifestyle, arguing that the advanced features in the Lumity over the Terra would not offer any practical benefit in her daily routine.

Is it true that the Terra and Lumity deliver comparable clinical "performance" in this type of environment (watching TV, direct conversation in a quiet living setting)? By performance, I am referring strictly to speech discrimination and speech clarity, which is our primary focus.
 
I suspected the hearing care professional wasn't giving me the full story! Thanks for clearing that up. I will look for another provider that carries the Naida Lumity L90 UP.
Do you happen to know if there is an equivalent feature/technology available for Unitron BTEs? I am wondering if it might be "Soft Speech Lift". Below are the specifications for the Unitron Stride B-UP BTE.
