Pin tool questions (ReSound)

Are the pin tools to open the hearing aid or change out receivers pretty standard sized across brands? It almost looks like a big paper clip could do the trick. I didn’t see any ReSound branded pin openers on eBay but there are other brands, which makes me wonder how differently sized they are.

No they are not standard. I just tried to open an Oticon More Battery Door and/or push the Oticon More case pin;

• large paper clip = no
• small paper clip = no
• Phonak pin tool = no
• sim-tool = no
• All too large.

Also, I dunno about ReSound and I don't have any ReSound HAs. Receivers are different. I can use a small paper clip on Oticon;

ETA: On EBay Phonak and Signia pin tools seem to be the same. Sorry for edits to fix links
Though, as you can see not much is standard.
