RogerX compatibility

I have Phonak Lumity 90’s hearing aids & 2 X Roger X 02’s also a Roger pen 1.1 (never used) so my question is can I transfer licenses of 02’s to my Lumity’s & will my pen work with them, I know the Roger’s need to be 1744 or above serial number & mine start with 2443 so that’s fine & I know I need a Roger transfer device ( need to purchase) but I don’t want to waste money buying one if pen, RogerX, & aids won’t play together .

Yes, your Roger Pen should work as the transmitter side, and the Roger X 02 receivers are the right type to be transferred into compatible Phonak aids via a Roger X/installer setup. Lumity instruments can use RogerDirect, so in principle that combination can work.

The main “don’t waste money” caveat is that the transfer process and receiver licensing can be a bit picky, and it’s usually something a Phonak audiologist/dealer can confirm or do for you with the proper Roger installation device/software. Before buying the transfer device yourself, I’d ask your provider to check the Roger X units and your exact Lumity model in Target. If they can see the receivers and install them, your Roger Pen should then pair/use them normally.

Thanks for the reply Stephen my Audiologist has never had or used an installer hence the question to find & buy one as I had already purchased the two cubes for £40 total supposedly new, anyway I have now found an installer & checked the two cubes & they both have the licences in ( green light ) but I am getting new Phonak audio EON E90 Spheres hopefully next week so not transferring into Lumity but into new ones.
