Hello Everyone.
My mother who is legally blind recently changed over to Starkey Omega Ai hearing aides from 15+/- year old Unitrons that were failing. After many visits to the audiologist, things are not progressing. Since changing over to Starkey, she has lost over 50% of word recognition, and is struggling to function. We have lost total confidence that someone else can fix this issue and we know we need to do it ourselves. My brother and I intend to take over and get her where she needs to be.

Being blind, she needs her hearing aides to work, and they don't, when we know they should and its improper adjustments.

Someone, please please help us gain access to Starkey Pro Fit!!!

Thank you so much in advance.

Hi , for programming Starkey Evolve Ai you need the programming software Starkey Inspire X + Starkey PatientBase

Inspire X
is for programming of following Starkey ( legacy ) generations: Evolve Ai , Livio/Livio Edge Ai , Muse/Muse iQ , Z-Series , 3-Series, Wi-Series, S-Series, Axio, Picasso, Halo/Halo iQ , SoundLens Synergy iQ ,

ProFit

I've worn Starkey for over 20 years. I have severe hearing loss in both ears. My previous audiologist was "Starkey trained". Sadly, he passed away, but my current audiologist is also Starkey trained and very knowledgeable, as he also wears Starkey aids. I think the Starkey programming is "proprietary", not diy. I've always been at the office. Go to Starkey website and search for a Starkey provider in your area. Starkey has one of the highest rating for customer service (If not the highest.)

Initial programming has been very complex....20-30 different adjustments and programing using my audio tests for my optimal settings... The newer aids, -- I wear EdgeAI24, but am thinking about the newest Omega, do have capability of programing via internet connection from the office. It's not just simply adjusting volume, which doesn't correct loss of word recognition.. Without aids, I "score" 35%, but my aids increase that to 80%... not perfect, but I can manage. Good luck.

Hi - I just obtained a single Omega AI for my single sided hearing loss and would like to program them myself. Can I be steered towards the software as well?

Thanks!
