Update description states:

Support of new Rexton hearing aids: Reach SR 30/20, BiCore B P 80/60/40 and BiCore B HP 80/60/40 as well as BiCore PL 10 with Bluetooth streaming.
Option to disable Headset Mode.
New hearing aid firmware for Reach and BiCore devices.

Does anyone know if they publish the changelog for the firmware releases? Wondering what the new firmware changes.

I hesitate to be the first to download new firmware updates (for all devices, not just hearing aids) because sometimes new firmware releases can be buggy and then you are stuck with the buggy update until they publish the next/later firmware release!!

Though if you just want to peek at what is inside a firmware update, here's what I do. I pretend that I want to take the firmware update.
AND, typically it will describe what is in the firmware update before proceeding with the destructive update.
Caveat !! I said typically. I can't vouch that all firmware updates will give you an option to abort??
So,, if you want to try this, and if you have this model connected, you could try;
  • Connexx / Service / Update Firmware of Hearing Aid

I'm picking up my HA this Friday and was wondering if I should make sure that Costco updates them before I leave. If it's a "minor bug fix" kind of update then it's certainly worth it I would think. If they're rolling out a major new feature not so much. I don't want to actually do it myself even though I'm prepared to tweak the software. I imagine bricking a set by tinkering is probably going to create some challenges with warranty.

  • Ask Costco if Rexton Connexx 9.13 has any firmware updates for your Costco model?
  • If yes ask them whether they have taken the firmware update for your hearing aids?
  • Audiologists have the luxury of phoning Rexfit Technical Support with questions.
Costco should be able to easily your questions, and you are right to ask that firmware updates be applied by the seller to insure that the updates are risk free for you!
