Left my hearing aids in the drawer for months then found they wouldn’t charge. Too tight to pay for new batteries so purchased a button battery charger off eBay for £5.65. And it works. Wearing my hearing aids again.
You may need a ‘C’ charging cable.

This was able to revive the battery? Then it charged fine afterwards through the standard charging in the hearing aids?

A long time ago I made a DIY Li-ion battery reviver using two standard AA batteries as a power source. I forgot the +/- details?
Here's a link to → another way;

Perhaps, an ounce of prevention is to not allow the batteries to deplete is a desk drawer.

You can read a DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF file named (Li-ion Rechargeable Battery Storage).

similar success story here - had a pair of Oticon Opn 3 that had died and not charging (flashing red rapidly on the charger). I took the Z22A batteries out the HAs and put the crocodile clip ends of a power supply (5v, 0.5amp setting) and got a reading showing a trickle charge of 1 watt - kept it there for about a minute then put it back in the HA and it powered up then charged in the charger! On the flip side I tried with a 'two-pin' (i.e. non-inductive) Phonak Audeo but no joy...they seem properly dead!
